Hi Everyone. I just got a new serger and have been having fun playing around with it today. I was able to make a few things and I've figured out the tension. Anyway, I know many of you have lots more serger experience that me and since I know there are a lot of newer serger users thought it would be fun to post a thread for more experienced serger users to post some tips/tricks they've learned along the way.

Thanks!

I have only had mine a few weeks but my first tip would be to read the manual from cover to cover. Even the really boring parts.

That's a good one!

My tip would be if you want to figure something out & reading isn't doing it for you google it! There are TONS of free videos on the net that can show you who to do just about anything!!!!

I also have a tutorial on my blog for how to gather with your serger! http://everythingyourmamamade.com/2008/03/04/gathering-with-a-serger-sewing-machines-too/
