Hi everyone, I thought it best to come to a forum of creative and enthusiastic crafters for my question!
I really want to buy this tufted headboard (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011EUA0EU/ref=twister_B01E9WN3DU?_encoding=UTF8&th=1)because it has a great headboard shape and it's the white faux-leather material that I like. HOWEVER, the buttons on the tufting are crystal. This feels childish for my bedroom. Since I can't find another headboard that I like as much, I wonder if there is an EASY way that I can cover up the crystals so that I can still purchase this?

For example, could I do a white chalk paint on the crystals? The one that is for shabby chic. Would that look pretty, or weird? Would it be obvious that I'm covering up a crystal? Michael's has a small and inexpensive white chalk paint for $3.
Would another type of paint work better?

I don't want to have to change the buttons, I just want an easy way to do it. I'd appreciate any other ideas and suggestion!

By the way, you can see the Headboard and its crystal on Amazon:

Thank you.
