The UPS guy rang my door bell at 9:30 am & guess what was there... my Sewing Clothes Kids Love: Sewing Patterns and Instructions for Boys' and Girls' Outfits (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1589234731/ref=ox_ya_oh_product) Farbenmix book that I pre-ordered from Amazon! I just got the shipping notice at 6:30 last night :). I love prime shipping & living near a distribution center (it was just released).

It's got some nice stuff in it! 2 of the patterns do work for girls our boys. The first half of it is a lot of techniques, how to's and other info. They also have a section on fit & how to make 'Kinderquins' aka kiddo duct tape dummies! My only disappointment so far is most books this size have 25 or so patterns in them, this one only has 10! It's still definitly worth the price of the book over individual patterns... there's are about $11-$15 each normally?

Anyways This is a list of the patterns included (I took pictures of everything but the Feliz but the link takes you to LOTS):
Feliz Party Dress (http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&hs=J95&q=feliz+dress&oq=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=9s5pS_6-DIKQsgPJ9oyfBQ&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=6&ved=0CC4QsAQwBQ)
Avalon Jacket
Brooklyn Shrug
Brooklyn Tank Top
Dortjie Trousers
Imke Shirt
Insa Skirt
Manhattan Special Occasion Dress
Riviera Leggings and Shorts
Silver Lake Windbreaker (they show a boy version too)

I've never used one of their patterns but have always wanted to. How hard are they? They make beautiful clothes.

Thanks for helping remember this book! I had a bunch of new to be released on books on my library hold's list and I was out of town missed a pick up and they cleared out my list :(... I couldn't remember everything. Can't wait to get this back on!

Our budget is super tight, but I was able to order my copy today! I ended up with $15 borders gift card, 33% off coupon, and it will be delivered to my house for only $6.20 out of pocket!!!

I can't wait! I have a Joann's gift card to use for fabric and supplies once it arrives, so I can give it a try. I am so excited I can hardly stand it!

The hardest part is getting used to tracing and ADDING your seam allowances, otherwise I find them to go together way easier then the ones you can buy at JoAnns!
