Oh I love those Amy! I think of everyone's frig....full of kids art work....wow!

I thought of something else Amy.....use them when you wrap gifts or bags. "Congrats", "Happy Birthday" "Merry Christmas"......You can attach the name/card with the clothes pin. :)

Or did you mention that??? I read the tute really fast!

Amy, I saw some lovely little stamps with the fleur de lis, but you had to buy the whole pack and since I'd probably not use the others, I didn't purchase it(because my basket was getting pretty full!). It was at AC Moore. It looked to be little enough. If there was an individual one, I would have gotten it for you!

Thanks Tracy.

Hehehe.....I usually don't forget things like this! I want to share with everyone since it's so nice!

Ooo we don't have AC moores down here! It has to be a really little stamp..small enough to fit on the clothespin...if you find it again and its reasonable..let me know, I'll pay you for it :) LOL

I regret that I didn't get it Amy. :001_unsure: It was pretty small. Wonder if they have one online in their stores?

Make one??? I'm glad you are suggesting that to Amy!

I have to say I really enjoy reading your little write-ups LOL..they're so down to earth and exactly the way most of us would be doing things :D

I so love this!! My mind is whirling with who this would be a good gift for!! I have to make them!! And I have the mod podge already. I could even add diamond glaze that I have left over from another project if it's for a gift. For hanging clothes on my line it doesn't need to be too fancy!!

I actually did not seal with mod podge bc I liked the way the ribbon felt. You can though. You def should heat seal the ribbon though on each end (run a lighter flame over the edge of the ribbon to 'seal' it and it doesnt fray) then adhere to the clothespin with mod podge :) Seal with the podge if ud like :)

Hi All, new here.

Love your monkeys blog and the clothespin idea. When I was a teenager, I worked in a daycare that made a yarn "clothesline" for artwork. They strung some flat on a wall and overhead. Then the art was affixed with clothespins (plain). This is a cute way to have my daughter's artwork displayed. Thanks for the reminder and the creative and stylish clothespin idea!
