I came across of this video today...I thought it is neat how is done. I did not try it yet but I am going to...:)

HAHAHHA!! I tried it and I fail my first time...well not fail all way...I made it to the end but i think because flowers are not same size when I opened it it did not open nicely like in video.

Well later on try number two...:P

Oh I really want to try this... I can see blue and purple flowers. You could make each flower a different color and it would be beautiful. It looks really fun to make!

so looks ok...but I cant open it nicely . I cant open it and let it go it will pull back in . ...close on it own. Hmmm...

Cool! I'm half-way thinking of doing something like that for my Christmas cards. But we'll see.

They look great Gloria. I doubt that there's anything you can do to make them stay open when you let go.

There is too much stress on the lower parts of the flowers, i think maybe you could put the glue a bit higher on the outside when you stick the flowers together, thus giving them more room to open :)

I wonder how this would do on a lightweight fabric? I might give it a try.
