Hello all I am going to be perfectly honest I have no idea how to do alot but... i am a quick learner. i've been trying to make a "play" dress for my soon to be 4 year old.( oh just to show you how clueless i am i can't even figure out how to rethread my sewing machine). Ok with that said i've been attempting to do it by hand. Not working out to well.. If anyone might have a pointer on how to do so it maybe and way to tell me how to try an easier way i'm all ears.. thank you for taking the time to read this.. and have a great day.

What is the make and model? I'll see if I can maybe find you a tutorial or some information. Hard to try to explain in words.

I would look up the book online if I were you, you can type in the name and number that should be posted somewere on the machine.
Once your good to go, a fun an easy play dress can be simply made by following the sizes of a shirt & skirt or dress she currently has that fits, take said shirt fold in half trace, then add the length you wish to your 'pattern' by following the length of a skirt, make sure to get wider as you go down maybe about 3in total (wider that is from the waist line). then you should have a half drawn dress :) trace on to 2 pieces of material that are both folded in half.
I gotta go I'll be back to post more :)
