I decided for this Christmas season I will be making a lot of my decorations and holiday goodies. I made some small yarn toques for the Christmas holiday to hang on the Christmas tree. These were extremely easy to make and came out better than I expected.

The Materials you are going to need is yarn, toilet paper rolls, and, scissors.

The prepping process I have done was cut the toilet paper rolls into 1/4s, 1/6s, and 1/8s (bigger cut = bigger toque). This is going to act as the brim of your toque.

Depending on how you've cut your rolls, you w ant to cut your yarn 12-10 inches in length

Now you want to start looping the ends and stick the looped ends through the toilet paper roll. You then take the opposite end of the yarn and put it through the looped end which you then pull tight.

Once all the strands are on the roll, flip the strands through the centre of the toilet roll

You are almost done!
Grab another strand of yarn and tie off the yarn ends. Trim and shape the pom pom top.
