Addicted to Scrapbooks

5 years ago I didn't know one thing about scrapbooks. Today, I'm hooked. I absolutely love to make books for other people. The smiles that I see while they look thru their books are priceless. I've actually scrapbooked over 100 years of pictures 3 times for my Mom, Aunt and Uncle and am expecting another Uncles pictures soon. I can't wait.
This year I'm tracking the hours that I spend scrapbooking because the main question that I get with every book is "How long did this take you to do?". Of course I never know that answer but this year I just want to see. Don't worry, I'll never tell my loved ones how long things take, they just need to enjoy their books. So as of today January 19, 2010 I have had 59 1/2 hours of luxury scrapbooking time. I've completed one 20 page album for my friend's new granddaughter as a baby shower gift. This is the first book that I've made without pictures. It was a little tougher than I imagined but still a lot of fun. All she has to do is insert the pictures of her choice in the frames and fill in some journaling blocks of the items that she wants to remember.
