February and March Project Ideas

Earlier this month I was busy with Valentine's paper crafts. I love to involve my kids, though sometimes my perfectionist tendencies get the better of me and I do more of the work myself.

Colorful Cutout Paper Heart Tree
I thought the tree turned out well, and it certainly added some cheer to our table. I also made some easy quilled paper hearts that might inspired into some kind of green quilled shamrock creation for St. Patrick's Day in March.
This month I also want to finish decorating a red floral fabric bag my 6-year old daughter started. We used an old pair of pants to keep the sewing to one hand-stitched seam. I'll post a photo as soon as we are able to tack on the final touch!
