Posted 08-15-2010 at 09:48 PM by msbecca

Oh wow, I have a blog!!! I'm so excited! I've never blogged before so I'm super excited to discover I get a blog on Craft Forum!!!!

Well, since this is my first ever, I'll just start off with some of my favorite things to do. I love, love, love photography! It is my passion. God has given us beauty in everything around us. I love to capture that beauty for generations to see.

I enjoy sewing. I get so inspired by creating items that are so useful and personalized to each...

This is a new craft for me. I enjoyed it enough to make them apart of my Chrissie gifts this year.

Hello!

I wanted to say hi, get something posted, and get my little corner of the forum going! All of my kids are grown, and are doing their own crafty things! Even the grandkids have the craft/artsy gene! I do make things other than shell jewelry, but that is my passion. A little of this and that in many craft areas, but mostly jewelry. I think crafty people are happy people! I like to have something 'in the works' at all times, or maybe a few pieces at once.
See ya,
Del

A Bridal Shower Card

My mother-in-law needed a quick card for a bridal shower and I was excited to try out the bridal gown cut from the Cricut Wedding Solutions cartridge. I can't remember the size but the card is a size A2 so I'm thinking it was around 3.5". I embossed the white part of the dress using the Cuttlebug embossing folder. The diamond patterned paper was from a dollar store pack and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up.
