It's interesting because I work for a professional, celebrity craft expert, but I am not really a "crafter". However, it's not impossible that I would become one.

Since viewing my client's crafting videos, I have become interested in card making. So...the past couple of months I've been collecting (buying) all the materials needed to make my own hand-designed cards. I must say I'm really enjoying it. I really need to get into the habit of thinking ahead and making cards in time for the occasion.

Today I ended up at Walgreens to buy a get well card when I could have gotten up a half hour earlier and made the card!

Anyway, mostly I help my client do her craft thing and if you are interested in her expertise, she creates some awesome, professional videos online at www.terriocraftprojects.com

I will be back and when I perfect my cards, I'll share some pictures!

All the best in crafting!

great to hear that you are enjoying your card making but be warned it can become VERY addictive! l started making cards about 12 months ago and can't get enough of it. l get very restless if l haven't done any for a few days. At the moment my passion is embroidery on cards.

I love card making too and I actually think it's a great place for a "non-crafter" to jump in because it's something you can do without a whole lot of supplies or tools and each card is a basically a "mini" project, bringing almost instant gratification. After I started card making I soon found myself with way too many cards for my personal use and had abandoned it for a while. I missed my crafting a lot . I finally found a solution when I came across a volunteer group online (OperationWriteHome.org) that makes and donates blank cards for the military to write home on. I have been hooked ever since and could not be happier to have my cards going to folks who really appreciate them. It's really been a win-win situation. Good luck in your crafting and I keep on the lookout for your pics!

My daughter is starting to get into card making. I suppose with the economy flopping, making your own cards is the way to go.
