Happycatstudio came about several years ago.... My husband and I were at an art fair and we purchased a great picture of two cats with the biggest grins on their faces.... the artist had named the piece "Happy Cats" and Jim, my husband, said it was us, two happy cats. We had just purchased a large, historic home near our downtown and he has a music studio in the basement and I have a craft studio in a spear bedroom..... hence " Happy Cat Studio".

Years ago, my husband and I were watching some random broadcast of these people hiking...really super crunchy people. They all had forest names when they were in the woods - I actually think they were hiking the AT. So, on one our hikes, my forest name became fern...he calls me phernies.
My husband got me into cloth diapers and I was and am obsessed. I converted about 8 friends into using them by the time my son was 8 months so that was an average of 1 a month. Anyway after my husband died my friend suggested that I should start a cloth diaper business that was like mary kay or pampered chef. I could throw parties and show them all different types of cloth dipes and then they could order through me. Well she suggested I use the name Benjibums since my husband's name was Benjamin. Well the business never happened but I love the name and hope one day to open and Etsy under that name so I have begun to use it as my screenname here and over at Sewingmamas. I am Spurk5532 over at diaperswappers though which was my college AIM s/n which is a combination of my maiden name, first name and dorm room phone number ha ha.

Reading all the other stories behind everyone's SN makes me wish I had one! It just came to me one day when I was trying to think of something catchy to make my Etsy Store. I think I may have taken a poll for ideas on a mommies network site that I belong to but I really can't even remember at this point.... *sigh* I'm a mommy and I'm crafty hence the name LOL
