Default Funny and stupid things we've done

Yesterday I was telling Charmedp3 about something stupid I did in a store and I thought it would be fun to start a thread about stupid things people have done in their lives. Charmedp3 suggested adding funny things we've done, so if you have a story or ten, let's hear it!

The story I told her was about a time I walked into a store, walked up and down every aisle with a cart and went to the check out. I was the only customer in the store. The cashier came over and stood at her register and I looked and reached into my cart to get everything out. Only I hadn't put anything in the cart. It was empty.

I told her I was shopping with the invisible man and everything in the cart was his. Just kidding, I didn't say that.

Talk about feeling stupid though.

I know I have dozens of stories, but of course I can't think of a single one right now.
One funny thing I can think of is that my teenager keeps taking things that I have said out of context and posting them in her "quotes" section. sigh Her favourite is "Stop wiping your butt on the carpet!" That is all she put! She completely neglected to mention that I was yelling at the dog! Or the time that I mis-quoted my husband. He had once said "If I wanted to hear from an @$$, I'd fart." (this was not directed at me) Anyhow, I, in my infinite wisdom, tried using that funny line on him when he was being a pest and informed him that "when I want to hear from you, I'll fart and let you know" that is another one she has on her Facebook as well as used against me every chance they get.....
A lot of goofing around goes on in this house.

this is the one i told Gma. I went to Micheal's with my grandaughter ..she was about 1yr or so. Of course she fell asleep in the car on the way so i put my coat in the bottom of the cart and put my sleepy little girl on it. Ok i proceed to shop...EVERY aisle i went down someone looked in my cart and asked me" what aisle did you get that from". when i got to the checkout she was still asleep and the girl said "i don't think theres a UPC for that" my reply was i could check on her butt!!! well everyone in line was crackin up...she has ALWAYS been a good sleeper!!!!! When I was pregnant with my first I was grocery shopping and paid for my $400+ worth of groceries then proceeded to grab my pocketbook and walk to my car....leaving my groceries at the checkout. Got almost to my car before the bag boy caught up with me.
