How's your weather?

Today it is snowing a blizzard. Yesterday we had 50 mph winds that knocked our power out for most of the day.

Crazy weather!!

It's like spring here and has been for several weeks or more... unusual. There have been a couple cold days here and there, but it's been mostly beautiful. I don't remember having so many days in March when I could open the windows.

Last night and yesterday afternoon, some storms rolled through, but most of it missed us. We were under a tornado watch, but other counties around us had tornado warnings off and on.

Sorry to hear you didn't have power most of the day yesterday. Do you have a generator that you use?

No generator. We have an awesome little wood stove that provides heat, light and a place for simple cooking. And we make sure that we don't open the freezer, so we don't lose anything.

We're better off than a lot of people. It's just crazy weather. Last week we temps in the fifties and today it snowed.

I'm glad your power is back and that you have your wood stove.
It is beautiful here right now. It's about 18 degrees (roughly 65, looking at my thermometre) and sunny. It has been really windy here too -not today, but recently. A couple of big old trees came down at my parents' cottage, and the one "next door". Luckily they both fell toward the lake, not the cottages. I think it was snowing just last week though. My cousin took his snow tires off, so he said to blame him if it snows again!
We usually have what I call "one last snow dump" (big snowfall) around March Break (which is this week), but it really doesn't look or feel like that will happen. I am NOT complaining about that either!

The good news is that spring is definitely on the way. The daffodils are blooming, and the trees are beginning to get buds on them.

I'm glad your trees did no harm. That's always scary.

I think the sun is trying to peek out and I see a little bit of blue sky. I just wish it would settle into something. Seems like the weather is changing every five minutes or so.

Got to at least 80 today. Had beautiful weather all week - even sunburned! Right near me in Branson MO, there was a bad tornado, though, the other day. Y'all may have seen it on the news. But this week has been great!

We had a nice little rain storm move through yesterday - 69/100ths of an inch of rain in our front yard. With the storm moving through, the temperature has really dropped. Instead of highs in the 80's, our high today was in the low 60's. It's supposed to be back up in the 80's by the end of the week though.
