Great thread!!
Here's mine:
I was taking DD to the doc for her check-up and she said, "Mom, are we going to the pee-on-me-trician?" I couldn't stop laughing!!

One of my 2nd grader's last year, (you can really tell we live in MD with this one) when asked "what is obey?" on an assessment, he said, "the stuff you put on crabs."

I have a funny one. My then 4 year old daughter ran down the stairs one day and yelled "MOM, GABE SAID $HIT!!!!" I said "Lorelai, that language is inappropriate! Go to your room!" She immediately cried and said "But mom, I used it in a sentence!" I had to laugh, it was so funny that she thought to say that.

I never knew swearing didn't "count" if you used it in a sentence!!!!
You learn something new every day......
Too cute!
(has she figured out how to tattle on someone for swearing without using the actual word?)

I am just giggling...love to hear these. My kids have said funny things over the years of course. Now they're 'older' (okay two adults one teen..much older I suppose) but my favorite is this: My now 13 year old was just about 2, and we were having some nasty weather. I heard what sounded like a tornado, so I got the kids into the master bathroom closet, which was huge, (a walk-in) and we sat in there for a few minutes...later, my son was saying good night to his Daddy on the phone (Dad was at work that night) and he was so excited to tell him 'mom shoved us into the tomato closet cause she heard a train'....
Another funny one: My oldest was 3 or so, and while at a store, my ex was holding his hand, looking at something...and apparently, the ex belched...and said 'oh excuse me'...and my son said 'it's okay dad...did you fart?'...seems he said it rather loudly too! LOL

Man...don't have any near as cute, but I have a lil one that happened just recently...
Not a kid, but a teen...
Was out prom dress shopping with my youngest, she had just come out of the dressing room and another mother was standing around waiting for her daughter
Random Mom: "You look really nice in that dress"
My daughter: "I know..."
Hubby and I were standing gaping like fish at daughter's response, I quickly said:
"Daughter that's not what you say when someone compliments you....tell her thank you"
Daughter: Huh...Thank You?
Me: Why'd you say that you sound just like your father
Daughter: What did I say?
Me: She said you looked nice and you said I know....
Daughter: I did? I didn't even think of what I was saying....
Me:*shakes head*
Teenagers on auto pilot....scary

ROFL I love that term 'teens on auto-pilot'...just like most husbands...I say most, because I am well aware there are some who are not this way! OR at least I've heard tales....
