Phew. That kind of thing could scar a person for life...

Amylouwho - This may be too much information, but my daughter just came home very....... loudly... and laughing at herself. *sigh*
Sometimes they crack me up too, so it isn't just the kids and the men.

Some of our funniest...

Ds liked the song "when the saints go marching in" and for about 2 years he sang, "Oh how I want to be in that cupboard, when the saints go marching in"... we could not convince him that the lyrics were different.

Dd used to "fork" her food, she'd be eating and say "Mom, I need you to help me fork it". Or, "I'm going to fork it now".

Today the youngest dd (21 months) took a large basket we have that was made in Ghana- it's flexible and BIG... she was throwing it on the floor saying, "Boing, Boing, Boing".

Older Dd and Ds were playing a game where they would run and hide from the baby, she would chase them and all were having a great time... I then heard older dd say, "H. is a gooey artichoke, run and hide!"

Older DD picked out some fabric she wanted me to make into a veil for her, I did so, and she used a band to put it on with, after she looked at her self in the mirror, she looked at me and said, "take a picture, because I look awesome in it!"

Older DD upon tasting a new brand of peanut butter, "Mom I don't like this! It tastes like PEANUTS!"

One last one: Was asked a question about something he did recently...
DS: "I can't remember it!" Older DD: "Woosh, I throw you my memory, now you remember it!"

Can you tell our middle child has quite the imagination?

Gotta love how she makes sure you catch it! (see, it's funny 'cuase it's not my daughter! )

Pixie, I'll bet the woman was pleased that you and Dad jumped all over her. She probably left thinking that there is hope.....
We try... but we're lucky, our daughters understand it's a GOOD thing to have manners...they may not use them all the time but they know they're good to have

your kiddos clean toliets....wow....can I borrow?

Too cute!
(has she figured out how to tattle on someone for swearing without using the actual word?)
LOL, yes she knows better now!! Now she says they said the "S word"!

When she was a baby, I would catch myself saying "dammit" all the time, so I would quickly say "rabbit" to try and cover it uo. SO one day she dropped something and said "dammit", and I looked at her, and she looked at me and quickly said "rabbit". I think she wasn't quite 2 and I was shocked that she picked up on that. She is really quick with things like that. So even now if I slip she corrects me and says say "rabbit mommy" to me. And she is 6.

Heck yeah they clean toilets! Seriously, when they were younger, I split up the bathroom. Youngest got the sink...easiest to clean...then the other two would either clean the toilet, or the tub. Whiche meant: a. argue till I forced one to do one or the other, or b. took turns every-other-time... However, much to my dismay...the oldest still lives with his father and so does my 13 year old...and recently I heard a bothersome discussion between my kids...it went like this: 'Oh my gosh, I don't move when I'm in there...it's so gross.......'....'yeah..me either...I stay in one spot'.... SO...I said 'um...what are ya'll talking about?'....it seems they were discussing (and mind you this is a 22 year old and a 13 year old...) how gross their bathtub was. Now, this is "THEIR FATHERS HOUSE" not mine...but I was so annoyed...I dove in with a vengence... 'I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU BOYS LEAVE THAT BATHROOM LIKE THAT I TAUGHT YOU BETTER THAT IS HORRIBLE...DO YOU THINK YOUR FATHER WILL CLEAN IT FOR YOU???'...HAHAHA Then strangely, a few days later, while talking to their father he mentioned how they were cleaning the bathroom a few days 'ago'...bahahahaha! I guess I just was disgusted because it makes 'me' look like a bad mom..yk??? Ugh...anyway.......

I hope you don't mind...from now on, I'm claiming 'rabbit' as my new cuss word! LOL
