Oh, bless your heart! The stomach bug is s-o-o bad! I hate the stomach flu even worse than I hated the swine flu. And being stuck inside... I feel so sorry for your kids - and you. I think it's even harder on the mom having to deal with all the puke and stuff, than it is on the kids.

I'm glad your snow is gone. Ours is starting to melt. I can see the grass, but only over the septic tank.

I hope your family starts feeling better soon. Time to open some windows and let the fresh air in!

We had stuff going around with all the kids (flu, strep throat, pneumonia, bronchitis) a few weeks ago. When the following week started, everyone was healthy and feeling good.

Then, () a certain distant relative stopped over and while sitting on my couchm I offered him something to drink and a sandwich. His wife said, "Oh, no, he won't eat anything. He has bronchitis and a sore throat. He has a fever too, but the Tylenol is helping that."

I didn't say anything, but I thought my brain was going to explode. I just got everyone healthy again. All I could think of was, "here we go again".

Was anyone else here taught to not go to someone else's home when you're sick? Or is that rule no longer in effect? Is it just an old fashioned thing?

Jrits, spring is only a few weeks away. Hang in there!

A sore throat alone wouldn't keep me home, nor would a little cough, but something serious like bronchitis would! Especially if it might be contagious!
If I was sick enough to not want to eat (now, I'd have to be awfully sick for that....) I would most definitely stay home!

There won't be any "here we go again" because everyone just got over it. You can't get the same thing twice (the power of positive thinking.....) Seriously though, everyone is probably immune to that right now having just had it around. Try not to fret over it.
