Default How often do you ship items?

How often do you go to the post office to ship items you sell? Once a week, every other day or every day? I am curious to know how others are doing it. I think twice a week is good unless you promise someone that it is going right out.

I rarely actually go out except for International.

I use paypal shipping and then if it doesnt fit IN my mailbox, I schedule a pick up (or leave a note on my mailbox bc my maillady is the BEST!)

I cant get international customs forms to print right on Paypal so I take those in.

So if possible I ship the same day or within 2 days.

I ship ASAP as soon as a order is finished. The faster you are the happier your customer is. I dont just use the post office though I always ship via the best way for the items. Sometimes Fed Ex is best for me to ship then the PO. Also I NEVER ship with out some sort of conformation.

I pay for shipping via Paypal but always take things to the PO because if you don't have a receipt with proof you shipped the item and it was picked up by USPS you get SCREWED if it never arrives to your customer (especially if they don't purchase insurance). I like to cover my butt. I ship as soon as I'm done with the item (most of my things are custom) but some times I can't make it to the PO. I just try to keep the communication with the buyer very open and update them often.
