Default A Little excited :)

My Badge Reels shop hit over 200 sales!! I'm a wee bit happy because less than 2 mos ago it was 100! So I'm very happy that I've found this niche and I've had several repeat customers...and that is very important in handmade business!

Also, wanted to share, I got a little shout out on nolaparent.com for the best local gifts...my Mario hat was included along with several of my Handmade Louisiana members (metrychick, NOempire and flambeauxdesigns)

Im staying busy, working on Harrisons batman cape for PJ nite on 14th, have a possible order for wholesale super hero capes!!

Whats new with u guys!?
~~Amy

Hi Amy,

I'm glad things are going so good for you across the pond, as for me and the future wife, we have a very busy month ahead of us aswell.

We just got accepted to a third exhibition in belgrade (we'll be there from 22nd of dec, till 11th of jan) and in between those dates we have to find room for the three exhibitions, the wedding ceremony, one birthday, christmas and new year.

I'm just thanking god that i don't have to cook this year

Joseph

Joseph that is a busy month!!! What exactly is a belgrade? Where are you abouts? I have a friend who lives here now in my city who's from Derbyshire, England. We have interesting miscommunications sometimes...her British accent and my southern one LOL

Hey Amy,

I can understand about that miss communication, i have the same here where i live with various dialects.

Anyway, i'm from the north of Netherlands, and Belgrade is the capitol of Serbia, it's the city where my future wife's family has lived all their lives.

My girl moved to holland to be with me after we met eachother on the internet, but.....that's another story

Yes lots of exhibitions in Belgrade, it's all about established artists who create handmade jewelry/bags/etc etc.

Every month they hold one or two of them and the good thing is, if you make it past the selection process you do not have to pay an enterance fee, so far we have never paid one enterance fee because the people on the board always pass us (which we're very happy about).

The exhibition is called "November Katapult" that's the one me and Marija will be attending, the one before that will only be attended by my sister in law, and then after we leave there is another one that will only be attended again by my SIL.

Amy that is AWESOME news! That's quite a jump in less than 2 months. Keep it up!

Good luck at the exhibition Joseph! I can see why you make it through the selection process so easily. Your work is gorgeous. Let us know how it goes when you get back.
