Default starfish earrings

these are some earrings i made for a tropical get away I will never get to go on. No , my ears arent even pierced but I do love to make earrings. the biggest challenge is since I don't have holes in my ears, I can never tell if the earrings are uncomfortable weight wise..especially when so much crystal is being used.
well..these are sort of self explanatory. I made these to help a friend raise money for her animal charity org. a few years back and then I just kept on going because they are so cheerful.

Those are really cute!
They make clip-on findings, you know. Or you could get your ears pierced!

It would be easy to change them to clip-ons. They are too pretty to just hang around.

I actually bought a few pairs of the sterling screw on earrings ..wow are they expensive I think they were about $8 a pair..not that comfortable either.

my dad would not let me get my ears pierced and after he passed away I decided not to just because ..idk.. I thought he might of appreciated that

another suggestion, though because of weight...prolly won't work but I thought I'd put it out there....I've seen and use magnetic earrings, not sure if they still sell them at those lil boutiques in the mall, called Claire's...not too expensive...might be something you could play with

Would these work for you?
http://www.beadfx.com/catalogue/findingsbaseearring.php
about a third of the way down the page (fifth row down), they have "Findings - Earring - Clip-on - with Ring - Silverplated"
I shop at the "bricks and mortar" store all the time. They are wonderful in there. I would like to think that their online service is equally wonderful even though I have never used it.

Just a thought. I usually forget to put earrings in, but at the same time, I love earrings. It seems a shame to me that you make these pretty earrings but don't get to enjoy them yourself.

Hmm, they don't look very heavy to me (at least not when compared to a lot of the super-big earring styles you see in the stores these days!!!).

Love the colors and the combination, maybe you should make yourself a pendant since you can't wear the earrings!
