This is really interesting. Keep up the good work. You have a lot of talent and I'm glad you're using it.

I'd love to see pictures of the progress you make on the doll you're making. Have you ever thought about contacting someone at one of the craft shows on tv to see if they'd be interested in doing an episode about the doll you're making? They always have shows that are interesting, but they never have new subjects, just a different twist on the same projects they've been doing for years. Maybe they've made shows about creating your own doll with resin, but I've never seen one.

Carol Duvall has had a lot of guests on her show doing really neat stuff with polymer clay. I wonder if she'd be interested in learning about your doll making. She started out on channel 8 in Grand Rapids, years ago. Now she lives up on Bear Lake, near Traverse City. She's had her own show for a lot of years.

the doll I have is from "eluts.com"... and the dolls are made of a special sort of "polyurethane resin" that's made to look like porcelain... some of the doll sites sell it but I can't remember which ones at the moment...
I've never actually gotten any of the resin to alter my doll though I will with my larger one when I finally save enough money to buy it
though a lot of doll owners use Apoxie clay instead of resin to manipulate their dolls...
and this is another material you could use http://cgi.ebay.com/AMAZING-SCULPT-W...item3a57d1c36d

this site explains a bit more about them
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball-jointed_doll

though I'm making my doll out of "friendly plastic" which is an easy to use low heat plastic that cools hard...
also other people make dolls out of fimo puppen or normal polymer clay...

this person on deviantart makes them quite well though first it seems that she makes them of cernit clay and then she uses that to make a mold to pour the resin into... http://amandakathryn.deviantart.com/gallery/#BJD

I know what you mean though it's not the only site there are lots of companies that make these dolls... including this one that my next doll will come from http://dollfairyland.com/ as soon as I can get enough money to buy it...

Also thank you all, I'm glad you like my doll clothes

She beautiful. You did a beautiful job on the outfits!! I know someone who makes similar dolls. She adds the hair and paints the faces on the dolls.

Thank you

do you mean actually makes them from scratch or buys the dolls and adds the face and hair... because you kinda do that with all these type of dolls unless you order them with the face up pre-done... and the hair is just a wig...

either way I'd like to be able to talk doll with them
