I actually found the fabric in its original form as a window valance (but it's very soft and not really "curtain fabric"). And I had to snatch it up! It was the last one left in the store...I wish there was more!

The bag is 12" wide, 8 1/2 tall with the flap closed, and with the flap open it's 14 1/2 from top to bottom

That is very cute.
Nice score on the fabric! Maybe the store will get more in since they sold out. Keep your eyes open
Are you going to use the bag yourself, gift it or sell it?

Unfortunately, I doubt the store will get more...it's a place called Ocean State Job Lot. They sell items that have been discontinued/overstocked/etc from other stores.

I'm thinking the bag is going on my Etsy when I finally launch it...I've been holding off until I have a good amount of merchandise first (soon!). Though it's so cute I'm almost tempted to keep it for myself.

thats exactly what I was going to write...god those animal crackers are the best (and I NEVER say that about treats devoid of chocolate!)

I have an ocean state two minutes from my house...sometimes big scores and sometimes all crap..its the thrill of the hunt!

..but thats where I got allthose super deals on the closetmaid cubicles, coutners, wire shelving- when you score you score

I love that bag..great idea

I have vintage pound puppy sheets I would love to use for something someday...once I learn how to sew

Yea! Mine also currently has a nice variety of "upholstery" fabric, huge rolls...nearly a bolt worth...for only $6 each. Lots of it is suitable for other projects. I had to stop myself from buying a cart full of them and settled for a big bolt of a denim-like fabric.

Whenever I go in there I always stroll around the bedding, clothing, and curtains to see what I can find for fabric. Most of the time I find some interesting stuff!
