Captain Jack Two-Turtle's Pirate Treasure Chest!
Here's a pic of the next nuttiness to come your way,
from the insane mind of Mickey Soumé!

just an update... the new sword turned out nicely i thought.
i spun the carriage bolts on my drill against a flat bastard file to grind away the letters and numbers, then fine sandpaper, then fine steel wool to polish the heads. locked straight through the box! the sword and black trim is ebony, recycled from the local guitar factory. (formerly Gibson Guitars)
the sword is 5/8" and the trim is 1/4"
still playing with lots of ideas.... i have so much fun doing these things in between building.

the first lock is installed now and working well. the wife and my son could not figure it out, and the first one is the EASY one! lol
did some more decorating and added handles to help hang on to it.

....and an in-law suite on the back!
This is looking really cool. Is there going to be a turtle running around inside with it's hands in the air?
Okay, I know turtles don't have hands, but you know how Jack runs, right? heeheehee...
