Cool Dress Shirt Dress

Ok so I seen a pattern for making rompers for toddlers and infants made from a man's dress shirt and had the thought of making a dress for my daughter. So I raided my hubbies clothes. ROFL...I took his 60 dollar shirt and cut it up and made a dress for my daughter. (Yes he knew I took the shirt)

Here is how it turned out!

That is cute! Expensive , but cute!
I made a romper for my daughter when she was tiny. I think I used a t-shirt.... I think...

That's a really neat idea! I LOVE the deep red with the bright pinks! Awesome! It'd be great for used dress shirts that are in "okay" condition...which would pretty much make it a trash to treasure!

Angela the shirt was old and hubby couldn't wear it any more..So it was alright..>

And tdi...I liked the way the colors blended!! I found a how to on making rompers out of dress shirts, and then did the dress instead! I was going to do a how to on it, but didn't get pictures of each step.So I can't!

In that case it is a perfect use of a shirt! Have you got an action shot?

I'm assuming it was his $60 shirt he was no longer using anyway.

Very cute! I like how it's not your trypical shirt dress. And I especially love the burgundy color with the pink contrast.

What do I mean by "action shot"? Have you got a picture of your daughter wearing it. Kinda like the dress in action.
Sorry. I knew what I meant and figured you would too. I'm bad for that.....
