Default Heather Bailey - Fabric Covered Lamp Shade

Just wanted to share a cute fabric covered lamp shade that I made for my little 2-year olds "big girl room". I think it turned out really cute!

I have more pictures of her Heather Bailey Freshcut Toddler room on my blog:

I made those in high school too! My grandmother showed me how to make them. I don't think I actually ever turned them into anything. I have seen them now over skirts and made into vests. Very interesting. I think I might try purse with my little one. I think she might be able to manage this if I have some lines drawn on the fabric for the first few. Just so she can get the hang of it. Gosh...another project. I think I really need to get a book and right them down. They say the first step in accomplishing things is writing them down. People who write them down do them more than those who just say they will. This weekend I will get a book (and make it pretty) and start writing down the projects I want to do.
