I offered to try to make him a pair.... in a more manly 'plaid lumberjacket' type of fabric, but he declined. Not sure if it is because he is holding out for satin.....

I'm first in line for sure. You'd better make mine with rubber soles because when the guys at work see them, I'm gonna have to be a good runner or a good fighter, and I'm too old for fighting.

I really like those. They look really comfortable. Are you going to make any in the leather? Or is the leather on the bottom of the shoe?

Right now the leather is the bottom of the shoe (place in with the "back of the leather" as the bottom).

I just got a non-stretchy satin to use for try #2... and may end up making a plain leather pair with a different pattern I have, later
