Default My latest projects in wood

My new toy a bandsaw so I am now making Sculptured bandsaw boxes. The wood is English Yew, Walnut and Zebrano wood

My husband keeps saying that he wants to try bandsaw boxes. I showed him your pictures, hoping to give him a nudge! I really like the tree shaped one.

Thanks Angela and Gma2rjc, the bandsaw boxes are very easy to make it's the sanding and finishing that I got to get right rather than varnish I think I will try danish oil and beeswax.
