So Cute CrabsAnd Critters

Can I ask a question thats totally off topic please?
I thought about putting some of my stuff on Etsy. How do you work out the postage, especially when you post overseas? Is it just a flat rate for anywhere in Aus and other countries?
Cheers

Thanks Guys

Hello Wanderer,
to work out postage you should go into the post office, they can give you a little booklet on prices.

It depends on the weight and size of the item.
Most of my little crabs are small enough to be posted as a large letter so it is only about $2.00, although my bears are too big to fit through a letter box slot they have to be posted as a parcel. its a flat rate of 7.85 up to 500 grams.

overseas rates are all different depending on the country.

I hope that helped?

Thanks yeah I get that but on your Etsy site it lists set prices for the items for Aus, Canada, UK and US postage.
For example it lists postage to the UK as $17.20 aud or $18.52 usd.
Is this what you charge as a flat rate?
Cheers

well its a flat rate to send to those places if it is under 500 grams. If i was to send something that was over 500 up to 1000 grams then there is a whole new set of prices to go by.
