Default New doll clothes

I made Suunrii my 10 inch Asian Ball Jointed Doll a cute little basic kimono, and since I plan to get a 25 inch (2' 1'') doll, I asked my friend if I could use her doll, Miharu to make a base pair of clothes.

The way I figure it is that if I have at least a shirt and a pair of pants the right size, I can make more using them as sizing references... then whenever I come over to her house I can use her doll to model the clothes and make sure they fit right... at least until I save up enough money to get the doll I want.

Also, just for fun I made a necklace out of some beads and a charm I had lying around.

(I added the white flowers into the kimono after the first picture was taken)

Great job femerithian! Those clothes are awesome. Thanks for posting the pics.

When I first looked at the second picture, I had to look twice to see if that was a doll or human holding the smaller doll.

Thank you the point of these dolls is that their suppose to be as close to human as possible (but without the flaws)

Thank you, my friend made the red eyes for him out of painted half marbles... their red because he's suppose to be a demon (not an evil demon though...)

Thank you, I know the feeling... these dolls are made to look really realistic because their meant to be used as an alternative to human models when taking pictures and doing things like drawing or painting...

Though an almost creepy thing about them is that when the flash of the camera hits their eyes it changes the direction their looking without actually having to change the direction their looking... an example of that is actually the middle picture because if you look at the third one that's the position that his eyes were actually in when I took the second picture, but it still ended up with him looking at the camera...

Suunrii is a honey delf from eluts and Miharu is a D.O.T from Dream of Doll though if you google for Asian ball jointed doll you'll find lots of places online... though most are really far away so the shipping and handling is a lot... though I think volks and resin soul are American... though with resin soul you won't get very good quality... the resin is thin and breaks too easy if the dolls aren't strung just right, and they're temperamental when you try to pose them...
you can also check ebay for used ones that people don't want any more...

These are kinda hobby dolls... and they can cost quite a bit if you really want quality...
