Well, I didn't think to get an action shot last night, but I think she liked it because she 'wore' it all evening long, "wooshing" by us often doing some type of hero theme song. Not bad for $5.65!
Inspired by Kymy, I made her a superhero cape. She had seen Kymy's and really wanted one. For the record, I contacted Kymy and asked about buying one from her. Her price was very reasonable and if it hadn't been for shipping and exchange, bringing it to more than I wanted to spend, I would have purchased one from her. Then I was in the fabric store getting their cheap-o zippers for the pyramid bags that I made (4/$1)when I saw that they had fleece on sale for five dollars a metre. I thought that for $5, I would try to make my own. Everything else I used, I already had at home. So Kymy, I hope you don't mind, I hope you are flattered, not offended! I won't be making any more, and I don't sell things either.

She is a tall girl and this reaches almost to the floor when she has it on.

Her name starts with a "C" and I used the "Harry Potter" font because she loves Harry Potter. I fused the letter onto the fleece. I thought about stitching around it, but I don't have a very steady hand when it comes to sewing and I figured 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' and left it.

That is so cool! Nice job.

Yep! Kymy does a great job on what she makes. I bought two crib sheets from her and they are of a much better quality than any I've ever seen or bought from a store. What a shame that it costs so darn much to ship things between Canada and the U.S.

What do you mean 'fused'?

I used fusable (fusible?) webbing on the fabric. You iron it onto the fabric (in this case, the "C") and it made the "C" into an iron-on patch. I then ironed it onto the cape.
