That is so pretty. My 11 year old (for 8 more days!) would love a dress like that! Has your daughter twirled in it yet?

I used the Ellie's Twirl Dress pattern from YouCanMakeThis.com there aren't really sizes, you just make it using measurements from your subject.
She is 10 months old, and is cruising around everywhere on the furniture, but is lazy and refuses to walk. She wouldn't even stand up for me when I was taking pictures... I'm sure she'll be twirling by summer though!

Awww... She's only ten months old! She's not lazy! My oldest didn't start walking until she was thirteen months old. (AND, She took her first real steps on a Friday the 13th..... She's a klutz! LOL) Her little sister was trying to keep up with her so she started walking at 11 months. Give yours time! It takes a lot of courage to let go of the furniture! Pretty soon you'll be hollering for her to stop running!

mine is almost 12 months and still doesn't show that much of an interest... she loves holding your hand and trying but she's still not that stable.
You could try a little trick my friends showed me. Instead of holding her hand while she walks, have her hold onto one of those baby linky rings and then you hold on the the ring also, when she starts to get going, let go of the ring. She'll still be holding on so she thinks she's being supported

DH walked at 8 months and I walked at 9 months, and she's been doing everything else on the early side, she's very active and prefers to hold our hand to walk instead of crawling when we're around. I'm not pushing her to walk or anything, I just think she's capable and is refusing. She has the biggest attitude I've ever seen... no clue where she got that from

I like that idea, maybe we'll try that one tonight! She loves zooming around with her push walker, but the room is not long enough to really get going...
