Default Valentine Cards and more

Nothing major, but a pic of the Valentine cards the boys made for family. Used their fingerprints to make hearts, and inside I wrote "From our hearts to yours, wishing you a happy Valentine's Day" and their name and the year.

And then the gratitude journals that we personalized with stickers (I know, not super crafty...but I just wanted to post a pic, lol)

The valentines with fingerprint hearts are too cute for words!

The recipients are going to love those cards!

What is a gratitude journal? I get the journal part.... Everyone writes about something they are thankful for?

Yes! You write things that you are thankful for - big things, small things. In theory, it's supposed to help you have a more positive outlook and appreciate things more, if that makes sense. The more things you express gratitude for, the more things you'll have to be grateful for.

I guess the idea is that you'll begin to really notice the "small things" and take less for granted.
How often are you going to write in these journals? Sorry if I'm being too nosey.

I love anything that uses the kids fingerprints, we do flowers with them in the spring - makes the grandparents more likely to keep!

The plan is everyday, but I'm not going to be strict about it (with my son anyway; I'm going to try to write in mine everyday) because I want it to be an enjoyable activity, and not something that he looks at like a chore, you know?
