Default Yet another sock monkey

I'm starting to think that you can have too many sock monkeys...
This time Hubby wanted one as an ice-fishing mascot. He is going fishing tomorrow, so I made this little guy yesterday and today. Believe it or not, hubby chose the fabric for the fish. Apparently it is a rainbow trout. He's gone to pick our daughter up from her friend's place, but as soon as he gets home, he plans to secure the monkey to his ice hut. I married a very silly man......
Oh, and when he showed his parents, his Dad asked when he gets one! Too bad he didn't say anything earlier. His birthday was yesterday.
(I still like mine the best!!)

Delightful! Thanx again, Angela! Have been on a sock-hunting mission lately, it seems. The right ones have just yet to jump out at me!
They will come to me... I'm sooo itchin' to make one of these! Wondering whether I kept my knitting needles (to make a li'l hat & scarf) when I moved or if I donated them??? Now I have another hunting expedition!!!

Hee hee hee. I took a picture of him secured to the ice hut, but hubby put him on so tightly that it looks awful, and so uncomfortable for the little monkey.
I think it is funny (in a spooky way) that on my page anyway, the ad at the top has to do with ice fishing in Ontario!
Thanks for the compliments everyone. I can't get over how many people I know want one! It all started because somone on this forum said she makes them! (thanks mamaslittlemonkeys!) Now it is spiralling out of control!

You might wanna check out 'Ode to Forgetfulness' on Youtube. Someone sent it to me & it gave me a chuckle. Hope it gives you a couple of giggles, too!
