Good grief. I need a class in digital photography.

I forgot to post the new lamp shade. I hated the victorian one. It didn't match the decor. So I purchased one at Lowes. Looks much better than the before pic.

And of course I need a new ceiling fan! But, I love my new liminate floors. Three years in the making and they still look great. It sure beats that ugly dark blue carpet, for sure!

Yup, I think we have been here for seven years and out living room/dining room is still the same colour and we haven't painted our hallway yet. I HATE the hallway and WANT it painted. Unlike you, I do not like yellow on my walls and that is the hallway colour. There are 7 doorframes to go around and I really do not enjoy painting....

You will have to post yours Angela. What colors do you want to use?

The hallway? Just a tan. There is a purple bedroom, a peach (but she is hoping it will soon be pink) bedroom and a cranberry bedroom off it. Oh, and a pale peach bathroom so we think the hall should be calm and neutral! We haven't even thought of a colour for the living room/dining room yet because we kind of like the blue that is there now.
We already have the paint. (I think) Wanna come paint for us?

No, I'll have to pass Angela. My daughter is coming tomorrow and helping me finish painting my crafts room.

Here are some ideas of mine. I've changed them drastically! Nothing new for me. I'm going with shelves and cubby holes. I like page 1 and 3 (cubby holes will be white instead of the black in that pic).

I'm excited. If my daughter and I can finish up tomorrow, then I hope to get the shelves and cubbies by Sunday and my mom is coming Monday, and maybe we can install them.

Then I need to purchase my sofa bed, strip my toy chest my father made, and I'm on to getting my crafts organized! Hopefully, in a few weeks I'm in my new crafts room whipping up my art! YAY!!!

Awesome! I really LOVE the "breakfast" nook area. That change seemed the most dramatic! I just love painting. I'm down to needing to paint the upstairs. I think I'm going to wait for a bit warmer weather here..
Beautiful color choices. I really like the bedroom color! Love that blue!

Thanks Tdi! The color in the bedroom is called uptown girl. I guess it does look blue in the pic. It's like a grey green with a touch of blue kinda color but it does look blue in the sunlight. I tried to find the color online, but it must be old. Looks like it's a 2005 color. That's me! Always behind times!

I was going to paint yesterday but it was my birthday and my family wouldn't let me! I have to laugh because I WANTED to paint yesterday. Today....blah. The weather is dreary and it's like my art....I have to be in the "mood"
