Talking Goopies anyone?

When I was growing up my grandma, mom and aunt used to make these window decorations out of something we called goop making them "goopies". Now my mom and I are trying to get back into it and cant find the goop anywhere. Does anyone know what I am talking about or have any suggestions for me? Any info is much appreciated.

I have no idea what that is. Can you explain it in more detail? Have you searched online?

I've searched high and low and everywhere in between I have some of the old bottles of the "goop" and it says lamrites and plastical. I have searched for both of these and posted on others forums and I got alittle help, but not much.
So my mom would make these molds out of aluminum, then paint the "goop" on color by color, then cook it in a little broiler oven. When it was done cooking she would let it cool, then peel it off the aluminum and it would stick to glass. They werent transparent and they last forever. She still has alot she made over 30 years ago but we were trying to get back into making them. I hope this explains it better for you. Thanks for any info I can get and for taking the time to read this.

Well, I've not heard of it. My aunts might know more about it. This would be like me explaining why my mother saved those tin pie crusts for her Christmas lights outside. Why they did that, I have no idea. Unless it was for reflection purposes. It was all the rage there for a while though.

By the way, welcome Debbi!
