Cool Ladybug Lid

This little project will turn your useless jar lids into something beautiful.

Materials:
• Mason Jar Lid Ring
• Foamies (Any Color)
• Google Eyes
• Puff Paint
• 20G Wire
• Hot Glue
• Ribbon

We will be making a ladybug lid, but you can make any other type of creature you feel will look good.

Step 1: Take your foamie and cut two circles. One out of red and one out of black, you can use the lid to trace the circle so that it fits onto it. Next you will want to cut a small semi-circle for the head.

Step 2: Glue the black circle to the jar ring and cut the red circle in half. You will attach the head before the red is put on. With the head glued down you will want to glue the red pieces down. Have these opened slightly so it looks like the bug is flying. Read More!!

Very cute! I will have to try this. I think I may fiddle with it, I've been tissue papering jars and have been looking for ideas for some of the lids... I think you're on to something!

A nice kid's craft. We have something to add to our craft tree again. Another bonding opportunity with my son. Thank you for the idea.
