Default modernized home decor

hi everyone,

my friend suggested to me of using videos as a wall/room decoration by flat screens. she said this would in a way entertain guests and lighten up the room.

i would want to know who has done this and your take on this idea because i'm thinking of using these videos in my top list...
puppies and kittens -
appalachian mountains scenery -

hope to hear from everyone..

many thanks,
marie

I didn't look at the videos, I think anything that you use would be a reflection of your personality....
Do you mean hanging a digital frame up, or somehow using a television?
(that reminds me, I must update my frame.......)

Wow, this is fresh decorating idea to me. And the video is sooooo cute. I love the furry animals to pieces. It's a nice gift idea too.

Yeah sure, the puppy video can also be a great gift. I know lots of animal lovers and that includes me. lol

The mountain scenery is perfectly breathtaking. When I found the related link and found it, I said this is paradise.

I've got a good news, another friend told me she's gonna try it on her daughter's birthday. I told her about it so she can have options for decors/entertainment since she's gonna throw a party and kids will be there. So, there. I'm gonna let you know of the result. Happy new year!

Definitely an interesting and modern decor idea. I haven't seen something like this yet, but I could see it being kinda neat.

When we went to Disneyland the "Smart House" in Tomorrow land had many screens using this idea... they had digital frames and LCD TV's that actually changed to the person who was using the room's preference- ie- if mom touched the control panel and told it to make it "her' settings, everything changed from what dad or kid's had them set to. It was very cool.

For my kid's birthday party's we have our TV set to a media PC and I put on a slide show of them that includes photos from birth to their current age. Great "decor" and full of memories!

With the new Windows 7 media center, there are many options for nature scenes and photo shows as well.

Go for it!
