Lightbulb Need Advice on my Bathroom project

I am redoing my bathroom, not fixtures, just decor. So I am going Purple since it is my favorite color and my dh will not agree to any other purple rooms
So I have light purple paint and some retro boarder and wallies. Any suggestions. I'd like to post pictures of the stuff I have already, but I'm not sure how to do it. I have purple toilet clothes and shower curtain, but I'm trying not to do it all in the same purple tones. I would love some unique ideas to make it stand out. I live in a mobile home so my bathroom is small, but cute..

I'm probably the last one that should be giving advice on home decorating, but here's a 'for what it's worth' suggestion.

I think you're going to get tired of the purple very quickly if everything in there is purple. You might want to look at a color chart and pick out a color that complements the shade of purple you're using.

With that color, I would pick out some towels, wash clothes, rugs, accessories, wall hangings or anything you like or need in that room. It'll break up the purple a little bit and as a bonus, your husband might not mind it as much.

There are some pretty shades of green that go very nicely with purple.

I think the whole monochromatic thing could work as long as there is a variety of shades of purple. On the flip side, yellow looks fabulous with purple too, and it's a nice warm color to balance out the cool purple tones.

My favorite color is RED, so I would have to put some red jewel tones with it.....course it would make it look a bit regal....but then again it is where you sit on the throne!....:-)
