You could always try working with some salt dough. You can make lots of fun things with it and you only need an oven. If that is a hit, they you could move on to something that needs a kiln.

My grandmother had a full set up shop at her house. Someday I hope to be the grandma with all the fun crafty things to do. My aunt (grandmother's daughter) has a full pottery set up at her house. She sells her pottery at many different art/craft shows.

Right now my goal is to get a full fiber/spinning studio set up and also set up shop. I could only hope to one day have enough room for ceramics and pottery.
