Default Wheel issues?

I have a Brent wheel that just won't stop unless I turn it off completely. Is there an adjustment I can make or does this need repair. It isn't very handy.

So sorry no one has responded. At this point our pottery group must be small. I hope you found your answer!

Brent models include A, B, C, CXC, and splash pans. Kick wheels are also available.
Which model do you have? Pictures would help as well if you can them post here.

ok, good... we need more details and specific symptoms.
Does the foot pedal work ok?
Is the speed consistent?
Are there any new noises?
Does the pedal stick?
etc...

The only issue with the wheel right now is that the wheel does not come to a complete stop even when the foot pedal is all the way in the stopped position. I haven't heard any unusual noises or had any issues with speed, power, etc.

i'd start with the pedal. check to be sure it didn't get some gunk in it that's stopping it from going all the way from 'on' to 'off'.
