I am almost done this baby quilt and I've quilted everything except the outer border. I have quilted in the ditch for most of it (through the 4" squares and around the purple inner border) and then diagonally through the smaller green and lion squares. What should I do on the outer border - it needs something to hold it in place. I'm not doing a binding on it, so as soon as I finish the last bit of quilting I'm done!! On a side note: Would you use this quilt for a boy?

I would use it for a boy.

You could just do a few straight lines around the borders.

That looks great! You could continue doing the diagonal lines that you had going in the middle...

I would use that quilt for a boy!
