Default yo-yos

I have a yo-yo maker... you know.. those clover ones... and I have a good number of yo-yos made now. Do you have any project ideas to get me inspired?

Indygo Junction has a bunch of cute stuffed animal/doll patterns that use yo-yo's in really creative ways. You might want to check them out too.

Just did a search Amie and saw where you asked about yo-yos. My sister-in-law was over yesterday for our Mother's Day cook out and asked about the material and the round circle on my daughters Patriotic rag bag. I said it was a Yo-Yo with a button in the middle of it. She asked, "Yo-yo?" I grinned and went to my bags of yo-yos I have started in years past. She got all excited and said I could make jewerly out of them! I laughed and said, "And a handbag, and placemats, and table runners, throws, art pieces, ---" She stopped me on art pieces and asked again what I meant. I said you can treat them like tile and make them mosiac. All the sudden she says, "Oh my. You are so smart Tracy! How talented you are!" My daughter and I looked at each other and laughed. My daughter said, "Aunt Nan, where have you been? Mom's been doing this kind of stuff for years!" Really just off and on. But, it was funny.

So, I've searched Yo-Yo and I'm wanting to know what you made Amie! And anyone else who has made things with yo-yos! Show pics and we will revive this thread!

they're actually still sitting in my drawer unused. I want to make a valentines day table runner though. But I need to make some white ones now and I had to give my nifty yo-yo maker back when I moved

you're soooo sweet! that's all right... I think for the moment I have way too many must do's on my list to even think about pulling the yo-yos out again. But I may take you up on that at a much later date
