Default Something for Knitters

Every wedsnesday i get an email from Dover Publications. Today i got this and thought you may enjoy this. Mind you it's 4 pages and you can right click on the pics and save them. Please let me know if you like this i'll look for other stuff for everyone inbetween my beading.

neat! to be honest...cables scare me. But so did socks, and I'm not doing too bad on the ones I'm working on

Thanks for sharing! I was brave enough to try some cables for dishcloths for the moms for Christmas and I made a cable scarf for myself and my mom. I have been looking for more patterns

Cables are surprisingly simple and make such a beautiful design. As long as you remember to take one cable at a time, they are easy peasy... especially if you can turn a heal... now that scares me!

I've never tried socks. I made a pair of mittens for DS so maybe I'll brave socks soon LOL. I have lots of leftover yarn from making DS's sweaters (out of sock yarn). I'm a scardy cat though

I like making socks... if it is with worsted weight yarns... Not such a fan of using the fingering weight sock yarns though. I recently figured out that I love sock yarn, but do not like making socks form it so I have turned to shawls-- I am nearly finished my first one and I love it!

Cables are fun. I find them simple as long as you can read charts.
