Check out these Checker Boards! (and a giveaway)
Ok, so I finished an awesome project last night! I've been working on it for a few weeks. I.AM.SO.EXCITED.
I made 4 Checker Boards! They are all different styles. I used wood boards and pretty paper and lots of Mod Podge. And I am giving one away.
I have pictures of all of them, and some contest details, on my blog:

Not bad for project #2, huh?

I totally understand! Before I had a job, I was crafting up a storm. But now that I work 40 hours a week, it takes me so long to finish anything!

Dang, I totaly forgot about the stuff I have done since Jan. 1. So here goes,
1. Polymer clay bottle of hope for one of my students who is going through chemo for the 3rd time. If you have not heard about the bottle of hope project you can check it out here. http://www.bottlesofhope.org/ Several of my students are wanting to start making them but want to do them in mosaic so I guess I will be looking into that. Its a wonderful cause.
2. Mosaic head to display my jewelry on..ok it still needs grouted but all the glass is there.
3. 2 bracelets, 14 necklaces, 13 pair of earrings, and 4 hair dodads, all fused glass.
I think that is it for January so far. Now I have to get back to cleaning the studio.
Lanee, I just went and checked out your checker boards, girl you are so very talented, those are just adorable. Thanks for sharing.

I know, I just realized January is over! I swear it was just Christmas. The tiles are super cheap if you get them at Lowes, or someplace like that.
