I have a box of partially finished bead projects. My intention is to go through this box and complete the projects in there instead of beginning anything new. I have a feeling that I will not be able to finish the entire thing in August. We'll see how big a dent I can put in it this month.
Here is the box:
The August Crafting Thread!!!!!-project-box.jpg

The Chrismas ball is probably going to be the quickest, easiest thing to finish. It just needs a couple of beads added to the bottom and to be tied up.
I have the flowers made for some Lily of the Valley. I need to make the leaves and "plant" them.
The Bleeding Hearts will be the most time consuming. I set them aside because they were so picky and they were hurting my fingers.
The yellow thing is part of a columbine flower that I started. I'm going to finish that.
I want to make another little beaded Christmas tree. This will be about as time consuming as the bleeding hearts.
I don't have it labeled, but I'm not sure what the brown beads are for... I seem to remember something about a Christmas decoration pinecone.
I am sure that there are other pieces of projects in that box that I can't see in this photo.
Like I said, I don't plan to do everything this month. But I do wonder how far I'll get!

Maybe finish TOM (Tim Over Matter).

Maybe make some yo-yos. I already have the circles cut out.

That's it. Hey, I'll be lucky to finish and start anything this month!

Ok, it looks like my August list is going to look like this:

10 shawl pins-done
try making some natural tops
make watermelon pickles (I've never tried this before)-done
rebuild an old rocker
plant garlic seeds
rebuild my garden beds to make them gopher proof (this make take a couple of months, since some stuff is still growing)

That's a lot, but some of it may go real fast for me.
