Thanks! The stone is actually howlite which is often used to sub for turquoise. I like these beads b/c they don't have the grey and black inclusions so they don't give the impression of being fake anything. They're just beautiful on their own!

My biggest thing this month was to finish my Care Bear blanket pattern...I finished that, now I'm trying to finish crocheting it! It's going to look weird, just because of the colors my daughter wants it done in, but I think it will look nice...pretty sure I won't finish it this month though! LOL

I finished the bride doll, bouquet, veil and all. I added a few pearls to the neckline. I finished the girl doll. I just have to put hair on her and draw her face.

Man, I'm glad everyone is doing so well! Very impressive!

Have you all shown your August projects? I don't want to miss them!

Bleeding Hearts
The yellow thing is part of a columbine flower that I started. I'm going to finish that.
I want to make another little beaded Christmas tree. This will be about as time consuming as the bleeding hearts.
I don't have it labeled, but I'm not sure what the brown beads are for... I seem to remember something about a Christmas decoration pinecone.
I am sure that there are other pieces of projects in that box that I can't see in this photo.
Like I said, I don't plan to do everything this month. But I do wonder how far I'll get!
Well, I didn't get very far. I finished the Christmas ball and posted it in the project showcase. (it is still hanging up where I put it to take the photo)
I made a few petals for the bleeding hearts, but not many.
I finished the lily of the valley, but I haven't taken a picture of it yet. I'll do that today.
I didn't touch anything else in the box.

I didn't get too far either with my plans.

I do have grand plans for September, though. Starting today!
