Default Bath bombs.

I love that bath bombs from Lush, but I can't quite justify the 5-7 dollars per bomb + shipping starts at 10 dollars!

Does anyone make anything similar ? Can you share your recipies with me ? thanks!

Bath bombs are the things you drop into your filled tub and they fizz, right?
I made some once, I'll look for my instructions for you.
I've been thinking of trying more Lush products. I bought a solid shampoo last month and love it! (but I am close to a store)

just as a side note... there's a Lush store front in the mall down the street from me... if anyone wanted me to grab some stuff for them and then ship it to you cheaper I'd totally be willing to do that!

Here's a recipe I've used before with success: http://www.teachsoap.com/bombs.html

Check out http://www.notmartha.org/tomake/bathbombs/ - There are some links and she writes up some great info in her part of the posting too.

I made bath bombs two times. First time was great (although my molds didn't work so well... just handforming was easier). Second time was a disaster. I tried to incorporate a pre-made scented product and the chemicals weren't compatible.

Oh, and be careful where you buy your supplies. I was really lucky and found a local shop that had all the unusual stuff but everything had taken on the odor of the rather potent store. Didn't notice it until I got the stuff home.
