Default Concrete Furniture

A great addition to our backyard and garden is a concrete table. I have a structural background and figured I could make something strong and durable. After our table, I decided to make custom concrete furniture for some friends. I was wondering if anyone else had any interest in concrete tables or concrete picture frames? Have you seen similar items sold anywhere? I am looking for additional ideas for my hobby/business.

I've not seen it before but I was wandering around on your site a little bit ago and love the idea. I especially love that first table you have posted.

Hey thanks a bunch. That was the first one that I made and spent a ton of time trying to figure out how to make it work together. Then I spent a ton of time grinding it down to the aggregate. The concept was in the works for a long time, but it was a great accomplishment to finally see it come to life.
By the way, I grew up in Santa Cruz and miss it.

Thanks Allyson. I got a lot of criticism when I came up with the idea, but everyone must agree that they are unique.

Hello Dan! You have a great mind of making those concrete furnitures. I wished I could be like you that can make concrete furnitures like that. Just continue making concrete furnitures, soon it'll make you famous.

Thanks for all of the encouragement. I don't know about being famous, but I try to keep my mind busy with ideas.
Here is a table top of my most recent table:

I was trying to combine an old log cabin look with the rough wood and a clean, soft feel with the epoxy and urethane finish.
More details can be found at my website.

I am really glad that you like it.
I sell my creations through Etsy. If you don't see something there, I will be happy to make it and then list it there. I use my website to display some of my work, provide some ideas for those who may want something custom made, and provide a place to contact me.
