Unhappy DIY furniture gone bad. Feel stuck and need help.

I got this ikea piece and tried to diy it! I painted each drawer with different paint color and that was fine. Then I masked it with painters tape and rolled over it to create rhombic chevron and this unfortunately created too much bleed and my entire drawer surface has horrible smudge lines. I am a novice diyer and have no clues on how to correct this design.

Note the background colors are acrylic and white paint is latex.

I am a neatnik and can't stand to see these botched up lines everywhere.
The only idea i have in mind is to strip the entire thing off and start again.
If there is a remedy you could suggest to correct these lines, I am happy to try it.

I am was doing this diy for my little one So i feel all the more terrible that this botched up so bad.

I would remove it and start over again. It seems like you need to use thicker paint and do several small coats to prevent the bleeding. I had this happen to me once. Not a fun experience.
