Default Some questions for crocheters

I crochet but have just started becoming interested in crocheting wool longies and such for my little one. The question I have is how much yard should I buy? He is 3.5 months, 16lbs. I have seen wool yarn for sale on Hyena cart and it usually comes in 4 and 7oz. Just not sure how much to buy.

You can check on line for free patterns and the patter would suggest the quantity of yarn. Check out Crochet Pattern Central and yarn companies like Lion Brand.

i would always start with atleast 4 oz for any size longies. for your little one i think it would be enough.
